In the wedding industry, there are different trends that you need to look out in order to keep your business in the game. Here are some trends that you need to watch out and join in the bandwagon of catering these events in order to increase the profits in your wedding business.

Blood exchanges
This trend began in the Carpathian Mountain, in the remote villages of Romania. This certain tradition has already made its clamor in the American soil. The first couple to entertain this kind of concept was the once famous couple, Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie. They drew their blood suing razor blades and placed their bloods in lockets and hang it around their necks.
The ritual involves making a small cut in the side of the forearm during the ceremony. After, the couples each bring his or her lips to the cut area and take a sip. According to tradition, those who share their blood in this manner will create a bond by mixing their blood which represents the union of their lives.
In the United States, President Barack Obama has introduced new laws regulating the practice in order to ensure that blood ingestion is safe.

Self-marriage
This trend is quite bizarre and unique at the same time. Self marriage is popular amongst the population of socially awkward people and spinsters. This trend allows them to marry themselves legally in order to do away with the stigma that is connoted with single life.

The first one who petitioned self marriage was a guy known as Harry Friedman. Friedman currently holds the Guinness World Record for the person with the most flatulence passed within a 24 hour period. He was aware and accepted the fact that he would never find true love because of his chronic medical condition. He then petitioned the state to allow people like him to enjoy the benefits of one legally married as an individual partner.
